Steffen Hartmeyer is a doctoral candidate at the Laboratory of Integrated Performance in Design (LIPID) of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland and fellow of the LIGHTCAP project under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Marie-Sklodowska Curie Actions framework. His research focusses on the methodology and application of light-dosimetry for integrative lighting research. During his studies he joined ARUP’s lighting team for the implementation and post-occupancy evaluation of a new daylight-responsive lighting system in their London offices. His background is in Cognitive Science and Human-Technology Interaction with a focus on the interaction with the built environment.
