He is an experienced dynamic thermal modeller and technical report writer with a thorough understanding of construction industry regulatory frameworks and compliance schemes surrounding operational energy efficiency, including the Building Regulations Part L, BREEAM & Passivhaus. 

Richard is a competent user of IES Virtual Environment (VE) software and possesses a strong interest in energy security, energy efficiency, decarbonisation, market trends & politics. He is particularly interested in the role that architecture plays in the delivery of low-energy buildings.
