Mike is a chartered mechanical engineer and fellow of the IMechE, after an Army/MoD apprenticeship and adult service, he has been in the NHS for 35 years the last 20 as executive director/ national engineering lead at various trusts and organisations. Mike was the  national lead for NHS estate services for IAQ and oxygen resilience in the pandemic. Mikes current role is that of head of energy for National Services Scotland NHS Assur
