Dr Lucy Barton AMIOA was awarded a BEng in Audio Acoustics in 2017, followed by a PhD in Vibroacoustic Engineering in 2023, both from the University of Salford, where she is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow in Acoustic Metrology for Building Acoustics on the Future Homes Project.
Her current research focuses on measuring the acoustic properties of low carbon emission technology for domestic infrastructure, including air source heat pumps, wind turbines, vacuum insulated glazing, and ventilation.
