Krystyna Curtis

Krystyna Curtis BSc, MSc, PhD, CEng, MCIBSE, SFHEA is a Senior Lecturer of Building Services Engineering at Glasgow Caledonian University, Glasgow. She has over 16 years’ experience working in academia. She is an active member of CIBSE Scotland Committee and currently chairs CIBSE Scotland Educational Sub-committee engaging students in STEM and working in close collaboration with collages and schools in order to attract more young people into building services engineering with a focus on increasing female students’ intake. Dr Curtis supervises several PhD students working with NHS Scotland on reducing overheating in hospital buildings. Her interest is in building energy simulation, HVAC systems and reduction of buildings’ performance gap.
