Caroline has worked for Historic England and its predecessor English Heritage since 2003. Currently the Principle Engineer and Team Leader for the Building Services Engineers in the Technical Conservation Team which is a team in Historic England that includes specialist architects and surveyors, structural engineers, architectural conservators and quantity surveyors providing advice  in dealing with the practical, technical and scientific aspects of working in Historic Buildings.
